Role Overview:

As a Project Management Professional, you will play a pivotal role in guiding small businesses and startups through structured growth initiatives. You will lead client projects, optimize business processes, and ensure successful execution of strategic plans. This role requires a blend of consultancy, financial acumen, and operational expertise to help clients overcome challenges and achieve scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Advisory & Strategic Project Leadership

· Conduct business diagnostics to assess clients’ operational, financial, and growth challenges.

· Develop customized project plans to improve efficiency, profitability, and scalability.

· Lead end-to-end project execution, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.

· Provide mentorship and training to small business owners on best practices in project management, financial planning, and operational strategy.

2. Financial & Business Process Optimization

· Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and business models to identify cost-saving and revenue-boosting opportunities.

· Implement lean business processes to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

· Advise on funding strategies, including grants, loans, and investor readiness for startups.

· Support clients in financial forecasting, budgeting, and risk management.

3. Stakeholder & Performance Management

· Act as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and external partners (e.g., investors, government agencies, suppliers).

· Monitor and report on project KPIs, ensuring alignment with client objectives.

· Facilitate workshops and training sessions on business growth strategies, digital transformation, and market expansion.

4. Compliance & Best Practices

· Ensure all client projects comply with UK business regulations, tax laws, and industry standards.

· Stay updated on emerging trends in SME support, fintech, and government funding schemes.

· Document case studies and success metrics to refine advisory methodologies.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Essential:

· Proven experience (3+ years) in business consulting, project management, or financial advisory (preferably for SMEs/startups).

· Strong financial literacy (budgeting, forecasting, funding strategies).

· Expertise in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Agile, Six Sigma).

· Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

· Proficiency in project management tools (Trello, Asana, MS Project) and financial software (QuickBooks, Xero).

· Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.

Desirable:

· Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management frameworks.

· Background in startup incubators, accelerators, or SME grants advisory.

· Knowledge of UK business funding schemes (e.g., Start Up Loans, R&D Tax Credits)

Role Overview

As a Market Research Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market data to support our clients’ business strategies. You will conduct industry research, competitive analysis, and consumer trend assessments to provide actionable recommendations. Your insights will directly influence business planning, marketing strategies, and financial forecasting for small businesses and start-ups.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market & Industry Research

· Conduct primary and secondary research on industry trends, market size, and growth opportunities.

· Analyze competitor strategies, pricing models, and market positioning.

· Monitor regulatory changes, economic shifts, and emerging sectors affecting SMEs and start-ups.

2. Data Collection & Analysis

· Design and implement surveys, focus groups, and interviews with business owners and consumers.

· Utilize statistical tools (Excel, SPSS, R, Python) and data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI) to interpret findings.

· Extract insights from government reports (ONS), industry databases (Mintel, Statista), and proprietary sources.

3. Client-Focused Reporting & Advisory

· Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations summarizing research findings.

· Provide tailored recommendations on market entry, product positioning, and customer targeting.

· Support clients in feasibility studies, business model validation, and risk assessment.

4. Collaboration & Strategy Support

· Work closely with consultants, financial analysts, and marketing teams to align research with business goals.

· Assist in developing pricing strategies, demand forecasting, and customer segmentation models.

· Present insights in client meetings, workshops, and webinars.

5. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

· Stay updated on AI-driven research tools, automation, and big data analytics.

· Recommend new research methodologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

· Contribute to thought leadership (blogs, whitepapers, industry talks) on SME market trends.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field.

· 2+ years of experience in market research, data analysis, or business intelligence (experience in SMEs/start-ups is a plus).

· Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research methods.

· Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and client interactions.

Desirable:

· Familiarity with UK small business ecosystems, grant funding, and start-up challenges.

· Knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) and survey tools (SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics).

· Experience in B2B research, fintech, or e-commerce sectors.
